Executive Summary:

Dick Sopher has more than 30 years of Real Estate experience in the Florida market. He has extensive experience in residential and commercial sales and marketing, asset management and leasing, and mortgage debt and equity brokerage.  Recently, Dick was the Managing Broker of a full service Residential Brokerage Company specializing in the sale of luxury properties in Naples and Boca Raton, Florida.  He managed a sales staff of over 100 associates with annual sales at levels of $500- $800 million.

In the 1980`s and early 1990`s, Dick was a Principal and Senior Executive of Anchor Realty Investments, Inc., a diversified real estate company located in West Palm Beach, FL specializing in Investment Advisory and Brokerage Services. Representative clients & transactions included:

  • TerraCan Capital Corporation

  • A Canadian real estate venture capital firm that Anchor exclusively represented to originate and manage its Florida investment portfolio.  In this capacity, Mr. Sopher was engaged in property acquisition & disposition, joint venture structuring, market feasibility, financial forecasts and asset management.

  • Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC)--Approved FDIC contractor

  • Anchor provided Asset Management services for FDIC owned properties throughout the Florida area.  These services included development & property management, equity & debt placement, and marketing & negotiating the sale of numerous REO properties.

  • First American Bank & Trust and Great Western Bank

  • Exclusively represented institutions in the marketing and sale of Bank Branch lease backs and other significant REO properties

In the mid 1990ís, Mr. Sopher joined Pine Street Partners, LLC.  Upon doing so, Dick negotiated the sale of several large commercial income properties and residential mixed use land parcels in Florida. Representative assignments and transactions include:

  • Olympia & York Companies (USA)

  • Financial advisor to the consensual restructuring of $5.6 billion in mortgage debt as it emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Mr. Sopher marketed and negotiated the sale of O & Y`s Florida assets including $15 million of commercial & multifamily land and income properties.

  • Alaqua Lakes PUD

  • Structured, marketed & negotiated the sale of an $11 MM, 800-acre land parcel in Orlando, Florida. This parcel was approved for 515 luxury home sites and an 18-hole championship golf course.

  • AT&T Wireless Services

  • Negotiated a 7 year 77,000 SF office lease for the SE Regional headquarters in the Golden Bear Plaza in North Palm Beach, FL
